This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Ridelo Platform, including:

  • Riders (Users) requesting rides

  • Drivers providing transport services

  • Agents recruiting and managing drivers

It covers Ridelo’s mobile applications, websites, and all related services.
Your use of the Ridelo Platform is also governed by our Terms of Service and Wallet Functionality & Usage Policy.


2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Registration: Name, mobile number, email, password, and payment details.

  • Driver & Agent Verification: CNIC, driver’s license, vehicle and insurance details, tax ID, and address.

  • Wallet Operations: Transaction IDs, top-up records, withdrawal requests, referral or promo activity.

  • Emergency Contacts: Optional contact access for SOS/emergency purposes (permission-based).

  • Ratings & Feedback: Reviews, complaints, and service ratings.

  • Customer Support: Any content shared via in-app chat, email, or call support.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Location Data:

    • Riders – location from ride request until completion.

    • Drivers – continuous GPS when the app is active, including post-ride safety monitoring.

  • Usage Data: Ride history, feature usage, and referral or promo engagement.

  • Device & Network Data: IP address, OS version, model, browser type, device ID, and mobile network.

  • Communication Metadata: Duration and timing of in-app calls/SMS (content recorded only with consent).

  • Cookies & Analytics: We use cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) for diagnostics and personalization.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Verification Sources: NADRA, traffic police, or licensed verification vendors.

  • Payment Gateways: Secure processors for wallet top-ups, withdrawals, and ride settlements.

  • Marketing & Referral Partners: Campaign engagement and referral tracking.

  • Enterprise Clients: Information shared by organizations using business accounts.

  • Legal & Regulatory Sources: Data received from government or law-enforcement requests.

  • Monitor activity to prevent wallet misuse

C. Improve Platform Experience

  • Analyze service quality and performance

  • Conduct surveys and feature testing

  • Provide localized offers and promotions

D. Customer Support

  • Respond to tickets and refund requests

  • Communicate through in-app chat, SMS, email, or calls

E. Legal & Regulatory Obligations

  • Fulfill court orders and government requests

4. How We Share Information

A. Between Users

  • Riders → Drivers: name, photo, pickup/destination, rating

  • Drivers → Riders: name, vehicle details, live location, rating

Phone numbers are never shared directly; communication occurs via in-app channels only.

B. With Service Partners

Shared with:

  • Verification and background-check providers

  • Payment processors and licensed gateways

  • Insurance and emergency-response partners

  • Marketing and analytics platforms (Google, Meta, Firebase)

C. For Legal or Safety Reasons

May disclose to: law enforcement or regulators (e.g., PTA, SECP, FBR, SBP, Transport Departments) to investigate fraud or illegal activity.

D. Business Restructuring

If Ridelo undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale, data may transfer under the same privacy protections.


5. Data Storage & Security

  • Stored on secure servers with restricted access

  • CNIC, GPS, wallet and payment data encrypted

  • Retained typically for 5–7 years or as legally required

  • All payment flows via PCI-DSS-compliant gateways


6. Your Rights (Pakistan)

You may:

  • Access and correct personal data

  • Request account deletion (subject to legal retention)

  • Opt-out of marketing messages

7. Wallet & Financial Data

  • All wallet transactions are securely logged within Ridelo

  • Wallet balances are non-transferable outside the app

  • No interest, credit, or lending features

  • Full bank card details are never stored

  • Compliance with SBP and FBR digital-payment regulations


8. Children’s Data

Ridelo does not collect data from individuals under 13 years of age. If such data is identified, it will be deleted immediately.


9. Third-Party Websites & SDKs

Our app may link to third-party sites or use SDKs (e.g., Google Maps, Firebase). Please review their own privacy policies.


10. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law or practice. You’ll be notified via app notice or email before material changes.
